New Video Program Being Implemented
We are implementing a new video program at Pampered Palette to bring decorative painting to more individuals. At the moment we are just learning the ins and outs of the new software program and will be adding audio to future video clips. This is a simple base coating clip. The silver plated piece has already been cleaned, sanded, sealer applied and sat aside to cure for 24 hours. Now I am applying the first blue base coat. All acrylics used during this demonstration are DecoArt Traditions. Note: No Audio.

We are so excited about our big news that we are announcing today. We, Pampered Palette, have been selected by Betty Caithness to release (publish) 3 of her brand new unpublished patterns. Pictured here are the three of the patterns we will be releasing soon titled "Beacon's Cove", "Hickory Ridge" and "Cape Cod Winter". We are trying to get everything published and available as soon as possible. So watch this site and our website for the announcement when these patterns will be available for ordering and shipment.
We will definitely be taking these new patterns along with several Betty Caithness original paintings and Betty Caithness prints available for sale at the SDP Conference, Houston and HOOT. We will be bringing some outstanding pieces so be sure to drop by our booths and take a look.

We, Pampered Palette, were on the road again this weekend promoting decorative painting. This weekend's class took us to the Treasure Coast Decorative Painters Chapter located in Port St Lucie, Florida. We had a great time as we introduced many of the members to the Traditions Acrylics and the Fusion Blending technique. All the members had a great time painting and learning the new technique. In fact, everyone was very excited that they ended the day and was able to leave the class with finished pieces. The pattern is a David Vernon design/pattern packet (that is me) - nothing like some strawberries and daisies........You have got to love it.
Again, our trip to Florida was to promote decorative painting, introduce the Traditions paints and a new technique to the chapter members. It was a fantastic time. We painted, we laughed, we painted, we ate and then we painted. The chapter members set up a great lunch of all homemade goodies. It was a meal for Kinds and Queens. Absolutely fantastic! We would like to thank our friends at Treasure Coast Decorative Painters for making this event outstanding. Hopefully we will see them all again real soon. We are attaching some photos of the event. AN OUTSTANDING OPEN HOUSE - BIG SUCCESS
WHAT AN OUTSTANDING DAY WE HAD AT OUR OPEN HOUSE!
We are absolutely stunned, excited, and appreciative by the number of individuals that came to celebrate the launch of all our new product lines at the 2012 Pampered Palette Open House. We actually had a much better turn out than we had at this year's dismal World of Color. Everyone had a fantastic time. They chatted, painted, laughed and ate... a little. We were so honored to have Betty Caithness join us during the Open House. Betty brought several of her pieces so we could display them during the event. We would also like to thank Betty for donating the beautiful original painting for our Grand Door Prize. The door prize winners are as follows:

These products are new to our studio. We would like to invite everyone to come on out to our studio and see all the changes.
Our doors will open at 9 am Sunday February 12th. We will have two FREE classes for those attending. The first class will begin at 10 am with special guest artist Carolyn Spencer and the second class will begin around 1 pm with special guest artist Sandy Scales. All attendees planning to paint during the class should bring all of their normal painting supplies including brushes, paper towels, brush basins, etc. (Note: Paints and prepped surfaces will be furnish for the classes).
